Sorry for the delay in updates...you can always check out my YouTube pages (USAPLMD100KG, Siouxz52Champ, or SupremeSportsPT) for new videos and info.
USAPL Women's Nationals in Miami, FL did not go as well as planned. Nevertheless I was able to secure my 14th National championship.
I was also the best Master lifter.
Warming-up for the squats I knew something was wrong when 135, 185 and 225 felt amazingly heavy and my lower back was tight and hurting. My 330 opener went fine but felt heavier than it should have. My second attempt I got a bit forward and missed. On my third attempt, I unintentionally dive bombed and wasn't able to recover. This made the lower back even worse. I could not put my feet flat on the floor for benches and added big blocks under my feet. I muscled the 203 opener and tried to do the same with 214 on my second to no avail. I removed the blocks and got some leg drive on my 3rd and succeeded with 214. A special thank you to the chiropractors in the back.... they worked on me after the bench and I definitely had some improvement. I lowered my deadlift attempts and was able to get my first two attempts and ended my day with a 330 squat, 214 bench and 347 deadlift .
A mere three weeks later, I competed in the Con-Cret Raw Challenge at the Arnold Sports Festival and have a wonderful meet. I went 9 for 9 and was the best female lifter by wilks. I finished with a 292 squat, 170 bench, and 303 deadlift. Not bad for only two weeks of raw training! I later found out it ranked me #1 raw female in the world. I am pleased but ready to do even better next year when I have a chance to train raw.
Thank you for all of your love and support.

GREAT NEWS!!!
The 2009 World Games are being held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. For those of you that are unaware, the World Games are an international multi-sport event meant for sports that are not contested in the Olympic Games. The games are held every four years and being selected to compete is one of the most prestigious honors bestowed to an amateur athlete. Only 40 female and 40 male lifters in the world are selected to participate. Based upon my performance at this year's world championships, I made the team. Look out Taiwan here I come!
Photos will be posted within the next few weeks. In the meantime, check out some of my competition and training videos at the following Youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/USAPLMD100KG
